HC Roast Beef w/ Aujus & Mashed Potatoes
HC Roast beef is so tender that it melts in your mouth! This recipe is great for the family.Ingredients:
- 3lb HC Roast
- 1 cup coffee
- 1 bulb garlic (minced)
- 1 yellow onion (chopped)
- 2 cups water
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Aujus Sauce
- Use pan drippings
- ½ cup of red wine
- Onions
Mashed Potatoes
- 7-8 Red Potatoes
- 1 ½ cup heavy cream
- Salt and Pepper to taste.
Steps:
- Place roast in crock pot and add all ingredients to cook on low 8- 12 hours or until tender.
- Slice and serve with aujus sauce over mashed potatoes or as a hot roast beef sandwich.
- Boil until a dark rich gravy forms, then pour over meat.
- Boil Potatoes until tender.
- Mash with a masher.
- Add heavy cream and cream potatoes until smooth and creamy.
