Ingredients:
- 2 lbs of Sirloin Steak
- Hunter Cattle Limili seasoning
- ⅓ cup cornstarch
- ¼ cup canola oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 TBSP fresh grated ginger
- 4 TBSP garlic (minced)
- red pepper flakes
- ⅓ cup amino acids
- ½ cup water
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 8 stalks of scallions
- broccoli
Instructions:
Step 1: Slice the steak into ¼ inch slices. Lay the slices flat, then cover with plastic wrap and use a meat pounder to flatten the meat.
Step 2: Put the meat in a bowl or Ziploc bag and add the cornstarch. Massage the steak and cornstarch together to make sure that each piece is fully coated.
Step 3: Pour the canola oil into a large frying pan, and heat on medium-high heat.
Step 4: While the steak is cooking, in another pan use a little canola oil and saute broccoli. Season it with Limili seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden brown on the edges.
Step 5: Add the steak into the pan in a single layer and cook for 30 seconds per side.
Step 6: Cook the steak in batches to ensure there are no overlapping pieces. Remove the steak from the pan as it finishes cooking, set it aside on a plate, then sprinkle it with salt.
Step 7: Add the ginger, garlic and chili flakes to the pan the steak was cooked in and saute for 10-15 seconds.
Step 8: Stir in the amino acids, water, and brown sugar and bring the mixture to a boil. Fold the steak back in and let the sauce thicken for 20-30 seconds.
Step 9: Turn off the heat, add the green onions and broccoli and stir to combine.
Step 10: Serve over white rice, rice noodles, or in lettuce wraps and enjoy!
